Our Family is Extremely in Need
My name is Richard J. Golding Sr., I'm living with my wife Nina, and my 19 year old stepson John, who is a handicapped with different kinds of syndromes, but above all he is so lovely, and anyone can see how much he deserves to live. I feel responsible to help him have a better life as best it can be, wihich it's not easy for anyone with his conditions. Now, without choice I'm stating our situation below asking, begging you in the name of GOD to help us! For the first time in my life I beg for help, I don't find any other way to survive, we have been thinking about killing our selves, but in my conscience our lives belong to GOD, and I have to keep myself in this world until my last day which is chosen by GOD. Besides, my step son John, who cannot understand the situation, needs our help for life.
I'm a very responsible person. I work in one Elementary School for many years. I appreciate my job with kids, and they like me also. Everything started one day, in August of 2008, when a pleasant lady from S. Africa named "Susan" came to the school to see how the schools run in USA to implant the same way in her country. It was my pleasure to show her everything, we had conversation all day long, then I gave her my business card from school.
Guess what? In the end of July 2009, I received a email in my business school web address, where I can never get scam email. This email came from S. Africa and was from Susan asking me to help her (of course, in my mind, without any doubt she was the same Susan I have met in school the year before.)
Well, it surprise me, but I had to believe, because I knew her. In that email she was asking me for help. She had lost her husband, who left 30.5 million dollars in funds, and she want to transfer it to USA before the S .African Government interferes and blocks the money. So, she asked me to use my Bank account and my name to sent this money. She said that she knew me as a very good person, and she trusted me for that, and she offered me 25% of it, to help her with all.
I accepted to help her, and she called me on the phone so happy, she even crying gives thanks to GOD for have found me to help her.
Then, all the process began.
1- She send all the information of her bank manager named Smith Bongani.
2- He got in touch with me, and he spoke with us as a real professional.
3- He sent me the form of "Ministry of Justice Sworn Affidavit - no charge.
4- Then, he sent a change of ownership -no charge.
5- He sent S. Africa Reserve Bank Form to fill out.
6- He sent S. Africa Standard Bank "transfer slip".
7- Then, he sent telex approval form to wire him ........................$ 8,100.00
8- Then, he requested the wire for the "Capital Gains Taxes"...... $10,000.00
9- He asked the wire for "VAT Taxes Barclays Bank in London".....$10,000.00
10- He asked the wire for "Taxes Clearance Forms".......................$23,810.00
11- He requested wire for "SARS Revenue Tax"..............................$15,500.00
P.S.: I was thinking about to stop all that, I didn't have anymore
money, and I borrowed all I could from friends and cash advanced
from my cards. But, I didn't have a choice anymore. I had sent too much money
to help Susan on this transaction, but she said on the phone that she will
pay back for all we have done to help her.
So, when Mr. Bongani asked for more, he said "don't worry, the money will
be all in your account tomorrow morning." it's 102% sure, I give my life on it. So we didn't have a choice but believed in him.
Suddenly, Mr. Bongani called back saying that Susan had a stroke, and she was in very bad shape. I asked about the hospital, and I tried to call to see how she was. They could not have her talk to me, but they made me believe she was there.
Accord to Mr. Bongani, since we were in the middle of the transfer, we should finished it, and wait for her to get better to tell us what to do with the money.
This way I hurt my whole family, because I started borrowing from them, I made them believe in me, and now I can give nothing back, and they are in needs as much as I do.
Then, Susan completely dropped out of the picture.
12- Bongani asked wire the holding fee for Standard Bank .....$ 5,500.00
13- He requested "transfer fee to London, England..................$20,500.00
14- He asked "fee for National Treasury"..................................$10,000.00
15- Then, he asked for a fee "Narcotics + Monitoring Funds"...$10,000.00
16- He asked for "C.O.T. "Cost of Transfer fee"................. ..... $61,000.00
17- He requested for the Barclay's Bank transfer fee".............$21,000.00
P.S.: Then, Mr. Bongani said he had to go to London personally,
because this transfer was taking too long over there, and he was going
to resolve that by himself.
18- So, he requested for the cost of the trip...........................$7,300.00
19- Then, he said we have to pay for the "split fund application"
because the amount of $30,500,000.00 were too large to
be transfer at once.............................................................$20,000.00
20- He asked for "Central Bank remitted fund..........................$18,375.00
21- He said Bank of London also was requesting fee for
"split fund in three equal payments total........................... $15,000.00
The complete total amount of US dollars sent to South Africa
as listed on the other page with dates and details is .................$221,573.38
After that, I could not continue anymore, because he wanted another $20,000.00
I got so aggravated, I noticed it have to be something wrong. Then I called to the Attorney General, and he direct to F.B.I. and it came out as SCAM/FRAUD.
Now I think how inocent I was to believe at Ms. Susan Shabangu, because everything shows that she had all that plained when she came to my school. She may thought if I knew her, I will believe her when she contact me in the future.
I starting to think about killing myself as so as my wife, but I was worrying about my son who is handicapped, and cannot survive by himself.
But I cannot take death from my mind, I cannot see much chance to recover any money and keep alive. I'm not able to work at this time relate to injury in knees. and my wife make so little money as waitress because of the bad economy.
